I kinda always knew Mrs. Danvers was evil.
This issue begins with the Danvers getting used to their new lives in the bottle city of Kandor. Although they cherish their new adopted daughter Dar-Lin (ouch) Fred and Edna still miss Kara. Then the unimaginable happens: Dar-Lin’s missing parents re-appear. They were lost in deep Kandorian caves for three years. Now Edna has lost two adoptive daughters!
The Danvers decide to clear their minds by visiting a zoo. While there Edna is stung by an animal who’s poison makes you hate whatever you where thinking of at that moment. Unfortunately, Edna was thinking about Kara’s biological parents. Edna disguises herself as a Kandorian scientist and tricks Zor-El into enlarging her.
Edna sets up a trap and almost kills Allura and Zor-El by exposing them to Kryptonite. Thankfully Supergirl shows up at the last second and saves their lives. Supergirl sends Edna back to Kandor. Later on the effects of the poison subside and a Kandorian scientist explains what happened. Supergirl forgives Edna but she is still heartbroken because she wants to be with both set of parents.
