Donna Storm, Supergirl’s new arch-nemesis!
Remember when in the last issue Donna Storm said she was going to change her ways? Well, she didn’t. Now Donna is jealous of Linda because Linda is now the most popular girl at Stanhope College. Donna starts cheating in order to get good grades, she even blackmails her father’s employees into helping her ace her chemistry project.
Kara decides to use her super-powers to help out her fellow students outshine Donna. How this is not cheating is beyond me, two wrongs don’t make a right. For those keeping score this is the nth time Kara has used her super-powers in an unnecessary way that could lead to her secret identity being exposed. Why would Supergirl help out a mundane girl from Midvale so much if she isn’t important in some way?
Donna is cheesed now! She decides to frame Linda for a crime and have her booted out of school. Donna’s plan succeeds mostly because her father donates large sums of money to the school and the school dean doesn’t want to risk Mr. Storm getting mad.
Donna privately admits to Linda that she is responsible for framing her. Somehow her admission is transmitted through the school’s PA system! The dean now can readmit Linda and boot out Donna. But how was Donna’s confession transmitted all over the school? Kara got Shrinking Violet to convert a small radio receiver that Donna used to cheat on exams to a transmitter.
